This project began with me wanting to get more experience with Fusion 360, which is a great software for hardsurface modeling. It's just so easy to use. I started off following Travis Davids videos on Fusion 360, to learn some new tips and tricks. When the design was complete, I brought in all the pieces in ZBrush where I dynameshed them and added some detailing and polished corners. After that it was time for retopo, which I did with Maya's quad draw. That tool is kind of a pain in the butt to use, but it works well enough. I also did the UVs in Maya.
I started texturing in Substance Painter, but then I realized it had been a really long time since I had used Quixel. So I scrapped what I had and started over in Quixel. It seems like good practice to not get stuck in one texturing software.
And that's it! I hope you enjoy the renders, the timelapse and the marmoset viewer scene. Oh, and feel free to give feedback and critique, I'm kind of a beginner when it comes to guns.
